LayerX Suppression Product Launch & Content Support
CTZN supported LayerX Suppression with product-focused media, launch campaign support, and customer-facing content built around low back-pressure suppressor performance and a refined firearms-industry visual standard.

Context
LayerX Suppression is a suppressor brand focused on modern, low back-pressure suppression for platforms where sound, flash, recoil impulse, gas, and shooter experience all matter. CTZN supported LayerX across product awareness, launch preparation, social content, email messaging, promotional campaigns, and visual storytelling for suppressor lines including the Strake and Raster products. The work called for media and messaging that could communicate technical product value without overhyping claims or leaning on generic tactical branding.
Challenge
LayerX needed to build awareness and credibility in a competitive suppressor market where customers are technically informed and skeptical of vague performance claims. The goal was to position the brand around clear product benefits, including reduced gas to the shooter and practical performance, while keeping the messaging grounded, responsible, and usable across launch, retail, and social channels. The work had to serve both product education and brand building, presenting the suppressors in a way that felt capable, modern, and legitimate without becoming loud or gimmicky.
CTZN role
CTZN supported LayerX with product positioning, campaign strategy, product-focused photo and video, short-form content direction, launch messaging, and email and social copy, plus creative support around new product rollouts and promotional moments. The work translated LayerX's technical value proposition into customer-facing creative for social, email, product announcements, dealer and customer education, and launch content. CTZN also helped shape the tone of the brand's messaging and directed media that presented the products clearly in context.

Production approach
The creative approach made the products feel technical, premium, and field-relevant. Visuals were built around clean product presentation, practical firearm-platform context, range use, controlled lighting, and a restrained tone that fits a serious suppressor audience. The work avoided exaggerated claims and focused on grounded product storytelling: what the suppressor is, what problem it is designed to solve, and why that matters to the end user. Because the subject involved firearms and suppressors, production required safe handling, professional coordination, and careful attention to how regulated products were represented. Messaging stayed customer-facing and brand-safe, with internal strategy, unreleased product details, and unapproved performance claims kept out of published material.
Outcome / use
The work supported LayerX's product awareness, launch rollouts, social media presence, email marketing, and customer-facing brand development. Assets and messaging helped present LayerX products in a more polished and consistent way across digital channels, supporting the brand's position around low back-pressure suppressor performance and a more refined firearms-industry aesthetic. Campaign creative produced for the Strake9 launch was published in Recoil Magazine.
